If, for instance, you are a German seller willing to sell in France, you would need to get your Back Office set-up for this (thanks to your Account Manager) and then, for your listing you would need to follow this tutorial.
Here we will detail three methods of putting your listing live abroad.
- On the back Office, manually
- Using CSV Import
- via API
First of all, please note that some fields that those are the fields, for the same listing, that can be different from one country to another:
- the description of the product
- the original price/price new
- the title
- the price
- the warranty delay
The quantity would remain the same for all countries though. For instance: it is not possible to have a quantity of 2 in Spain and 0 in France for the same listing.
MANUALLY ON THE BACK OFFICE
Go on the listing page: https://www.backmarket.fr/bo_merchant/listings-new
Click on "Edit offer" :
Then just click on the flags to select the countries you want to sell your listing to. The mandatory fields to fill are:
- translated description
- shipping mode
You can also check in "View details" why your product is not live in some countries. Our alert system will indicate you if your product is waiting for validation or if there are missing fields.
USING CSV IMPORT
If you want your product to be available in several countries, you have to select 'all' in the 'Language' field of 'Import my offers'.
Be careful, you also have to add the 'lang' column to your CSV file. In this column, you have to fill the country code of the country where you want to sell your product. Thereby, if, for example, you want to sell your product in 3 countries you will have to put 3 lines for this product in your CSV file, each with a different country code in the lang column.
Using API, you can just change the country-code directly in the header of your request.
