One of the biggest growth drivers at Back Market is - without a doubt - international. In addition to France, our home country, we are present in 5 other markets: Spain, Germany, Belgium, Italy and the United States. Our growth there is exponential and the opening of these countries is an opportunity for you to benefit from it. Indeed, on these newer markets, there is less competition, so your chances of getting the buybox are higher.
Our analysis shows that a merchant who opens Germany and Spain in addition to France doubles his monthly sales on average.
But what if you don't have a competitive transport contract to deliver internationally? Or if you don't know how to manage returns from abroad?
It is to provide you with a turnkey solution to these questions that we have created BackShip.
In concrete terms, it is a service that allows you to issue pre-folded transport labels in one click, directly from your Back Office. The service allows you to benefit from competitive prices with our transport partners, Colissimo and DHL Express. Delivery within 24 hours will allow you to increase customer conversion rate and satisfaction for returns.
How does it work?
1. For the delivery:
- In the "Options" tab of your Back Office, you select the countries to which you wish to use the Back Ship service.
- In the " Orders " tab, you validate the orders received in the selected countries. You prepare the order and then click on "Ship". You can then print your shipping label. The carrier is notified of your request, and will pick up the package within 1 working day. The tracking url of the parcel is automatically loaded in the Back Office.
2. For good returns:
In case of a return request from a customer (change of mind, technical defect, etc.) in the after-sales service conversation, you click on the "Generate a good return" button. The label to be stuck on the parcel is then automatically sent in the conversation, with a small message giving the necessary instructions to the customer (packaging, point of deposit of the parcel). The parcel tracking url is automatically loaded in the Back Office.
Are the parcels insured?
All parcels are insured up to the value of the product they contain. In case of damage or loss, Back Market will take care of making claims with the carriers. If the insurance works, you are compensated by having within 48 hours.
How much does the service cost?
Each transport voucher is associated with a price, which depends on the country of departure and arrival of the package, as well as the category of product (impacting the weight) and the value of the product (impacting the insurance).
The service is added to your invoices on the 6th, 16th and 26th of each month.
